Inside this submarine, 

there’s only you and me. 

 

I don’t like the ocean, 

but you do. 

So I swim with you. 

 

Your delicate body moves in perfect motion

attracting every sea creature to watch. 

 

My lover, you think the jellyfish and algae 

illuminate the sea, 

but it’s you.

 

You’re the glow and mystery of the water. 

An enigma to all. 

 

Inside you’re full of darkness, 

tempting us all with your light. 

 

I think I understand why you love the ocean. 

You love the reflection of yourself. 

And I love it too.
