Martin Ortega-Zapata is a Junior-year filmmaker of the North East School of the Arts (NESA), majoring in Cinema and Creative Writing. Though currently exploring other genres, he specializes in comedic screenplays, with hyperbolic, dynamic characters in absurd, ironic situations. He aspires to write Hard Science-Fiction or Thriller screenplays for film and television, and to work on independent and industry film projects across the world. Since 2023, he’s made about 5 short films; 4 with NESA (Reel Bully, The Silent Polyglot, Pot of Gold, Interview With An Alien), and 1 independent project on Youtube (Untitled Fight Film).
