Nika Barnard is a sixteen year old writer who was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa and moved to Texas when she was two years old. She once competed with other students to give a speech at her eighth grade graduation and ended up being selected. Nika one day hopes to become an author or write for television, but until then, she is learning what she can from NESA.
