Dear God of water,

What am I

If not a child on your playground?

Bring forth your thunder,

Have no mercy;

Lend me your vitality,

Electricity,

and pulse,

Carry me to the unforgiving ocean

That both births and kills,

And I’ll let you decide

My savory fate.
