Things that are mentioned only in prayers

The fantasies children write in their books

The street corners where no one thinks to look 

These are the stories that go without listen

They are gone as soon as the stars begin to glisten 

Before you know it that are lost in the breeze 

Yet somehow some people hear them with ease
